A third-person action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). The game was first released on March 12, 2013, for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) console. It is the seventh installment in the God of War series and prequel to the entire series.
While working with the music team on God of War: Ascension, I was responsible for editing all of the music in the first 26 Chapters of play. I took the mixed orchestral stems recording by the London Symphony Orchestra and edited them to create music loops, in game cut scenes, and stingers. All editing was done in Pro Tools.
In addition, I also handled the early stages of implementation utilizing PlayStation's proprietary audio middleware Scream.
